Suunto Race 2: An Enduring Power Source for Ultramarathon Runners

With the introduction of the Suunto Race 2, athletes can now utilize a trail running watch that features substantial enhancements compared to its earlier version. The Race 2 showcases a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen with twice the brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate, promoting improved visibility and fluidity. In spite of the heightened screen brightness, the watch boasts an outstanding 16-day battery life or 55 hours when using dual-band GNSS tracking. This makes it perfect for long-distance competitions and multi-day adventures.

The Race 2 presents a sleeker profile, trimmed from 14.7mm to 13.9mm, and comes in two material choices: grade 5 titanium or 316L stainless steel, with the titanium variant being lighter. The watch includes a variety of training features, such as SuuntoPlus apps, offline maps, and over 115 sport modes. It also delivers metrics like Training Stress Score and Recovery Score to assist athletes in fine-tuning their training and recovery processes.

Suunto has also launched the Wing 2 bone conduction headphones, which provide a 12-hour battery life, enhanced audio performance, and IP67 protection. These headphones are crafted to pair well with the Race 2, presenting a complete solution for athletes in pursuit of performance and resilience in their equipment.
