CMF, a subsidiary of Nothing, has launched its newest product, the CMF Headphone Pro, aimed at transforming the budget-premium headphone segment. At a price of only $99, these over-ear headphones feature attributes usually found in pricier models, including active noise cancellation (ANC), an impressive 100-hour battery life, and modular elements.
The CMF Headphone Pro distinguishes itself with its innovative design, incorporating a multifunction roller for controlling volume, playback, and noise cancellation, as well as an ‘Energy Slider’ for instant bass and treble tweaks. A customizable button enables users to create specific shortcuts, enriching the user experience. The headphones are also compatible with high-resolution audio and LDAC for high-bitrate wireless streaming, plus a 3.5mm wired option.
Among its notable features is the modular design, which allows users to change ear cushions to various colors like vibrant orange and green, costing about $25 for replacements. Internally, the headphones are fitted with 40mm dynamic drivers, nickel-plated diaphragms, and a 16.5mm copper coil, ensuring minimized distortion and an expanded soundstage.
The CMF Headphone Pro includes a “Personal Sound” feature that adjusts the EQ according to the user’s ear shape and hearing profile. The hybrid adaptive ANC offers up to 40dB noise reduction, automatically adapting to the surroundings.
Battery performance is a key selling point, providing up to 100 hours of playback without ANC and 50 hours with it. A rapid 5-minute charge yields 4 hours of playtime, while a complete charge takes about two hours via USB-C. The headphones also feature Bluetooth 5.4, multipoint pairing, Fast Pair for Android, Swift Pair for Windows, and full compatibility with iOS.
Offered in dark gray, light gray, and light green, the CMF Headphone Pro is presently available in Europe and the UK, with a launch date in the U.S. set for October 7, 2025.
