Huawei has unveiled its latest foldable smartphone, the Pura X Max, which seeks to surpass rivals such as Samsung and Apple by being the first “horizontally wide” folding device. In contrast to the conventional tall foldables, the Pura X Max sports a broader design, enhancing usability when closed. The gadget boasts an exterior display of about 5.5 inches and an interior display measuring 7.69 inches with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Preorders are currently available in China with a deposit of 1,000 yuan, although global launch details are still unclear. The phone is anticipated to utilize the Kirin 9030 chipset and will come in five hues: black, white, blue, gold, and orange. The official launch is scheduled for April 20.
