Spigen garnered the most votes for the best phone case manufacturer this year, which was no surprise. The brand provides some of the most budget-friendly cases for top smartphones, maintaining a solid consistency in its products. If you’re uncertain about which phone case to choose, you can’t go wrong with Spigen.
The brand offers a diverse lineup, including clear cases, magnetic styles, rugged options, and an expanding array of smartwatch accessories and add-ons such as phone holders and wallets. Spigen absorbed its sister brand Caseology in January 2025, further reinforcing its reputation as a case manufacturer with options for everyone.
Runner-up: Thinborne
As for the second place, Thinborne secured the runner-up spot this year. While this Texas-based case manufacturer sets its prices quite high, the quality is undoubtedly top-tier. If you need an exceptionally thin case that can withstand impacts yet incorporates a magnetic ring, Thinborne delivers what you require. Nearly every phone case from this brand is priced over $60, but I assure you, this small business is serious about its offerings. It’s truly worth the extra investment.
Honorable mention: BURGA
It’s uncommon for me to highlight a third contender when discussing the best case makers of the year, but not mentioning BURGA would be a disservice. This Lithuanian brand has gained visibility, offering products that can stand against reputable names in the industry, such as CASETiFY. The designs from BURGA are exceptionally unique and playful, giving each product its own character. It’s a brand with passion, and even if it didn’t clinch the votes, I believe it deserves a place among the finest phone case makers of 2025.
In 2025, Sony demonstrated that they value consumer input, while Bose remained a fierce competitor in the quest for ANC dominance. Nothing impressed with the striking design of the Headphone 1, and brands such as Sennheiser, Bowers & Wilkins, and Noble Audio introduced flagship-level sound quality to the market.
In spite of this competition, it may not be surprising that our selection for best wireless headphones is Sony’s newest WH-1000XM6, with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) as our runner-up. Although some of the aforementioned headphones may have superior sound quality, none implement ANC as effectively as the solutions from Sony and Bose.
Between the two, Sony slightly surpasses Bose due to its marginally better performance in high-frequency noise cancellation, with some users favoring the deeper customization features of Sony’s app compared to Bose’s simpler interface. Sound preference varies: Sony tends to be more neutral, while Bose leans towards warmth in bass and sub-bass frequencies. Both choices are excellent and have dominated the market for wireless ANC headphones for years.
