You can’t discuss gay dating without mentioning Grindr. Though still dominant, the app’s user experience has been criticized due to ads. Despite this, the need for an alternative persists. Certified sex therapist Michelle Herzog says Grindr attracts many queer men seeking partners or less serious commitments, though some men are still searching for long-term relationships.
