Telechips offers a Linux SDK based on Yocto Project 4.0 Kirkstone and supports Ubuntu 22.04 rootfs. Development requires a Windows (WSL2) and Linux computer with at least 60 GB storage and 16 GB RAM. The SDK is based on Linux 5.10 LTS, supported till December 2026. Documentation and resources for sensors and actuators interface are available on the documentation website.

Telechips, previously prominent from 2012-2016 with chips like the TCC8925 Cortex-A5 SoC in HDMI TV dongles and Android TV boxes, now focuses on automotive SoCs for infotainment and driver-assistance systems. The Telechips TCT8050 Dolphin 3M SoC resurfaced through the Open-EP e-Paper project interfacing a 4.26-inch grayscale ePaper display with the TOPST D3-G board.

TOPST, a Telechips trademark, sells the D3-G SBC only in South Korea, with the 4GB model costing 161,000 Wons (~$110 US) and the 8GB model 189,000 Wons (~$129 US). Global availability is anticipated in due time. Further details and purchase links for Korean users are on the product page.
