Apple TV+ has officially revealed the premiere date for its forthcoming romantic drama, “All of You,” which stars and is co-written by Brett Goldstein, recognized for his breakout performance in “Ted Lasso.” The film is slated to debut in select theaters and stream on Apple TV+ beginning September 26.
Touted as “a love story for adults,” “All of You” showcases Goldstein alongside Imogen Poots, celebrated for her role in “28 Weeks Later.” The story blends themes of romance, humor, heartbreak, and a touch of sci-fi. The narrative centers on two best friends who, following an innovative soulmate-matching test that alters their lives, spend twelve years wrestling with their emotions for one another while dealing with marriage, children, and personal losses.
Helmed by William Bridges, who has worked on “Black Mirror” and “Stranger Things,” the screenplay is co-written by Goldstein. The film has already left a mark on the festival scene, with screenings at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
With the triumph of “Shrinking” Season 2 and the forthcoming production of “Ted Lasso” Season 4, both of which Goldstein co-writes, “All of You” further cements his position as a prominent creative talent on Apple TV+. Moreover, Goldstein’s distinctive creative projects, such as his “quarantine reality show” “Lone Island” on YouTube, highlight his adaptability.
Apple TV+ is offered for $9.99 per month and includes popular series and films, such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Studio,” “The Morning Show,” “Shrinking,” and “Silo.”
