The arrival of foldable smartphones is imminent, as Samsung revealed on Monday that the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for July 9, 2025. This marks the third Galaxy Unpacked of the year, succeeding the Galaxy S25 introduction in January and the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge in May. We anticipate a focus on Samsung’s newest foldable devices.
### Anticipations for Galaxy Unpacked in July
All indications suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will take center stage this July. Last year, Samsung unveiled both the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in July, aligning with this timeline. It’s also probable that the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be introduced at the July event.
According to leaks, we speculate that the Z Fold 7 will feature slightly larger displays (8 inches for the interior screen and 6.5 inches for the exterior screen), while the Z Flip 7 is rumored to compete with the Moto Razr thanks to a significantly larger cover display.
In its announcement, Samsung mentioned that “the pinnacle of Galaxy AI and Samsung artistry is set to be revealed” as the company readies to present “the latest and most outstanding offerings in the Galaxy lineup” at Unpacked in Brooklyn, New York.
### How to view the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked
As is customary, the South Korean firm will broadcast its event live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel. The event will commence at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT on Wednesday, July 9, allowing viewers to tune in for a live experience.
We will be reporting on the announcements as they occur, so make sure to return to BGR.com for all the updates when the next Galaxy Unpacked kicks off on July 9.
