Tubi — a complimentary, ad-supported service that provides a fairly extensive array of films and series (and did I mention it’s absolutely free?). You can discover a multitude of overlooked treasures on Tubi, along with titles that may have slipped your mind after their initial release. One such title, coincidentally, recently drew my attention; it’s a horror adaptation by Stephen King from the early 2000s.
“Dreamcatcher” — featuring a cast that includes Morgan Freeman, Thomas Jane, and Jason Lee — centers around a group of friends who encounter extraterrestrial beings during a trip to Maine, an unexpected event that compels them to utilize the telepathic skills they developed in their childhood. It is adapted from King’s 2001 novel of the same name, and although it was a complete failure at the box office, it has found a fresh audience on Tubi two decades later.
