Although Live Translation debuted with iOS 26 for users of AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods 4, the company indicated that several languages would be introduced in a subsequent update. In the iOS 26.1 beta 1, MacRumors found that the company is already integrating Japanese, Korean, Italian, and Chinese, encompassing both Traditional and Simplified, as part of the languages eligible for real-time translation.
