Samsung has introduced its inaugural mixed reality gadget, the Galaxy XR mixed reality headset, formerly referred to as Project Moohan. This gadget serves as Samsung’s response to Apple’s Vision Pro spatial computer. The Galaxy XR is up for preorder at $1,799.99 in both the U.S. and Korea, with deliveries commencing on October 31. Early purchasers can take advantage of an Explorer Pack deal, saving as much as $1,000 with benefits including one year of Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, Adobe Project Pulsar, and NBA League Pass.

Samsung intends to release additional Android XR devices, featuring AI glasses in partnership with Warby Parker, Gentle Monster, and Google. The Gemini AI system enables users to have natural conversations and execute tasks like searching the real world with gestures.

It includes removable light shields, lens inserts, high-resolution cameras, and eye-tracking features.
