Given the positive response Apple has received regarding this feature, which proves to be more effective than a fan-based cooling system, the company is currently considering extending the vapor chamber technology to the iPad. As reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter, the upcoming iPad Pro could leverage this advancement.
Nonetheless, this may not be the sole product that might utilize the vapor chamber. The journalist posits that if this technology thrives on the iPad, the fan-less MacBook Air could potentially incorporate the same technology in the future. This could enhance the MacBook Air’s performance while preventing the thermal throttling observed with the M5 MacBook Pro.
