Another speculation suggested that Samsung would raise the Galaxy S26 prices due to the increased cost of essential smartphone components. Additionally, reports consistently reference the Exynos 2600 chip, which seems to be a revolutionary advancement from Samsung.
Fast-forward to Wednesday, and Korean news outlet MT exclusively reveals that Samsung has established an ambitious goal for 2026. The Korean giant aspires for the Galaxy S26 series’ sales to surpass those of the Galaxy S25 series, aiming for a total of 35 million units. Alongside robust sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8, the Galaxy S26 is anticipated to drive a record-breaking year for Samsung’s mobile division, achieving revenue levels not seen since 2013.
Samsung reportedly intends to sell 240 million smartphones and 27 million tablets next year. Projected annual revenue should reach $90.7 billion, equivalent to around 130 trillion won. The mobile division experienced record sales in 2013, achieving 133 trillion won in revenue. However, sales have remained stagnant since then, stabilizing at approximately 100 trillion won annually. The report also highlights that Samsung’s mobile division aims to generate 120 trillion won in sales this year. By the third quarter of 2025, Samsung Mobile had recorded 98 trillion won in revenue.
