Land Aircraft Carrier at CES 2025, Xpeng extended an invitation to global media to join its AI Day in Guangzhou, China. During this occasion, the company showcased its latest aerial vehicles under the Aridge brand: the Land Aircraft Carrier and the A868.

The Land Aircraft Carrier is set to become the world’s inaugural mass-produced flying car. With 7,000 orders already placed worldwide, it is anticipated to be delivered in 2026, having surpassed its rival, the Jetson One, in order numbers. This visionary vehicle boasts a range of 1,000 kilometers and accommodates five to six flights per charge. According to the company, its development has incorporated over 5,000 kilometers of confirmed flight mileage, and purchasers will have access to a unique flight license program featuring personalized coaching.

Nevertheless, although the company is optimistic about launching this product by 2026, several questions remain unanswered. Currently, the focus is on a release in China, with flying capabilities anticipated to be restricted to designated flying camps; there are approximately 200 options available in China at present. However, the specifics of the pilot license course and the regulations governing the operation of these vehicles remain uncertain. Additionally, we were unable to view the interior of the car — we were only able to see the detached flying drone and its exterior.
