Grand Theft Auto VI Experiences Another Setback: Revised Release Date Revealed

it was initially postponed to May 2026, and now further to November 2026. Rockstar states on its website: “We apologize for adding more time to what we acknowledge has been a lengthy wait.” The developer also confirms that the prolonged development period will allow for a “level of refinement you have come to expect and deserve.”

It is disappointing to see the eagerly-awaited “Grand Theft Auto VI” pushed back once more, but if Rockstar and its team indeed take that additional time to enhance polish and ensure the launch is relatively bug-free, that’s advantageous for all. And naturally, Rockstar understands the delays are aggravating.

“We want to express our gratitude once more for your patience and support. While the wait is extended, we are extremely eager for players to immerse themselves in the vast state of Leonida and a return to contemporary Vice City,” the company mentioned. A number of games have been postponed this year, such as “Pragmata,” “Crimson Desert,” “Ark 2,” the “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” remake, and more. However, none of these hold as much significance as the “Grand Theft Auto” series.
