There’s evident curiosity around running the more feature-rich iPadOS 26 system on a phone initially equipped with iOS 26. Duy Tran clarified in another post that getting iPadOS 26 running on the iPhone 17 Pro Max is primarily due to a bug. An exploit was utilized that enabled this feature through a jailbreak. Nevertheless, it seems that Apple is aware of this situation and has addressed the bug in the iOS 26.2 beta 2 version, indicating that the only way to “upgrade” to iPadOS 26 is to delay transitioning to the official iOS 26.2 release for as long as possible.
Ngl i’ll use this device daily lol
