Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro, Opera now provides users the option to select the AI model they wish to utilize when engaging with Neon Chat. As is customary, users can also change models during a conversation if they desire.
In addition, Opera Neon now includes the Opera Deep Research Agent, which collaborates with the Chat, Do, and Make agents to boost user efficiency. Consequently, Opera asserts that you can convert your browser into a robust research center, as it “reduces the requirement for manual searching by cross-referencing various sources.”

Opera has also enhanced its Neon Do agent to be capable of creating a Google Doc. This highly anticipated feature enables Opera Neon users to seamlessly incorporate one of the internet’s most utilized word processing tools into their workflows. The agent can generate a Google Doc for nearly any purpose, such as compiling product research into an automated comparison document. To access this functionality, users need to choose the Do agent in the browser’s omnibox and enter a prompt.
