A day following Apple’s release of its 2025 Apple Music Replay, Spotify unveiled its much-anticipated Spotify Wrapped 2025. As stated by the company, this feature is now more dynamic and tailored than ever before, offering new ways to reflect on the sounds, voices, and moments that shaped 2025. “For 2025, the experience is more enthralling, intricate, and enlightening than ever. We’re going bigger and bolder, reintroducing some Wrapped favorites, incorporating stories that users have been requesting, and presenting interactive options to engage with and share the sounds that made your year unmistakably yours,” the company shares.
In addition to the minutes listened, top songs/artists/genres/podcasts, and artist clips, Spotify is rolling out several other features, including the ability to compare your musical preferences with those of others in your age group, a top song quiz, leading albums, a fan leaderboard, a listening archive that provides personalized glimpses of your most unforgettable streaming days, and your top artist sprint, which showcases how your top five artists changed in ranking on a monthly basis. Spotify has had a successful year, launching multiple new features such as the capability to message and share music with friends.
Here’s how you can access Spotify Wrapped 2025
Spotify advises that to participate in the Wrapped experience, users must have streamed at least 30 songs for over 30 seconds each and listened to a minimum of five different artists this year. Additionally, Spotify notes that streams from Private Mode or from songs or playlists that users have excluded from their Taste Profile do not contribute to the Wrapped summary. Available to both free and Spotify Premium users, individuals can locate the Wrapped section within the Spotify mobile app. With the app updated, the Wrapped feed can be found at the top of the home screen of the Spotify app. It can also be accessed by searching for “2025 Wrapped.”
As is customary, Spotify Wrapped is designed for sharing on social media platforms. The company also mentions that artists, songwriters, podcast creators, and advertisers can explore their own Wrapped experiences to see how their fans engaged with them this year. Lastly, Spotify is celebrating this launch with events around the globe, featuring approximately 50 pop-up experiences in major cities, such as Oasis in Manchester, Jennie in Seoul, and Bad Bunny in Mexico City.
