We’ve been aware that this functionality was on the horizon for at least a month, as a previous APK teardown indicated that real-time location sharing had been discovered in a beta version of Google Messages; however, it seems that the feature is now officially being rolled out, with confirmation of its accessibility on a Galaxy S25 Ultra earlier today.
