However, several titles have been cancelled or put on hold, such as Taika Waititi’s initiative or those from Kevin Feige, Rian Johnson, and probably the new Ben Solo movie. There’s no point in lamenting over spilled milk, though, because there remains a wealth of content on the way — some of which is bound to be excellent, and some perhaps not. Thus is the ever-swaying pendulum of releases from a galaxy far, far away.
Gazing into the future, certain forthcoming projects generate enthusiasm solely based on their titles and context. “The Mandalorian and Grogu” launches shortly, and it will be reintroducing “Star Wars” to the big screen in a significant manner. Since that is so imminent (and technically out of development), we chose to leave it out of this list — but make no mistake, it is guaranteed to stir things up.
