Samsung has broadened the reach of its Galaxy Connect app, making it compatible with all x64 Windows 11 PCs, thereby improving cross-device functionality beyond just its Galaxy Book laptops. This enhancement permits users to utilize features like copy-paste, access to phone storage, second screen functionality, and smooth continuity between Galaxy phones and PCs. Nonetheless, the app is only functional with Intel and AMD x64 Windows 11 devices, excluding ARM-based PCs such as those powered by Snapdragon X chips. This initiative by Samsung extends the app’s accessibility, allowing a greater number of users to take advantage of these features, akin to what is usually found in Apple’s ecosystem. Users with eligible devices can obtain the app from the Microsoft Store, ensuring they are logged in with the same Samsung account as their Galaxy phone.
