Axiomtek has launched the PICO570, a high-performance Pico-ITX SBC utilizing Intel Core Ultra (Series 1) Meteor Lake-U processors. The compact board measures 100 x 72 mm and features an 11 TOPS NPU for edge AI applications.

The PICO570 resembles the AAEON PICO-MTU4 Pico-ITX SBC but includes a 262-pin DDR5 SO-DIMM slot for RAM upgrades instead of using soldered LPDDR5 memory. It supports HDMI 2.1 up to 4K at 120Hz and includes an RS-232/422/485 serial interface, two USB 3.0 ports, and an SMBus connector for system management. Capable of operating between -20°C to 60°C, it is suitable for AI inference, automation control, medical systems, and intelligent infrastructure thanks to the watchdog timer, hardware monitoring, and 12V DC input.

Specifications include a Meteor Lake-U SoC choice, supporting Intel Core Ultra 5 125U and Ultra 7 155U processors with Intel Arc graphics. Memory is provided by a 262-pin DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM upgradable to 64GB. Storage options are available through an M.2 Key M 2280 socket with PCIe Gen4 x4 or SATA capabilities. Video outputs include HDMI 2.1 and LVDS. Audio is available via a pin header connecting to the AX93A22 HD Audio I/O Board. Networking uses Intel 2.5GbE and Gigabit Ethernet controllers through M.2 Key E 2230 for wireless modules. USB connectivity features two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports. Expansion includes a programmable Digital I/O and SMBus connector, with security provided by fTPM 2.0 via Intel PTT. Other features are a watchdog timer, lithium battery for CMOS, fan connector, and system monitoring for temperature, voltage, and fan speed. Power is supplied through a +12V DC-in.

The PICO570 offers compatibility with Windows 11/10 and Linux, with an eAPI3.0 SDK for control over the watchdog timer, hardware monitoring, and digital I/O. Axiomtek presents the board in standard configurations based on either the Intel Core Ultra 7 155U or Core Ultra 5 125U processors. Pricing is provided through direct inquiry via the product page. Additional information can be found in the press release.
