Today’s Connections: Sports Edition will test your sports knowledge. It’s a variant of the New York Times word game aimed at sports fans. Like the original Connections, it’s about finding “common threads between words.” New sets of words get trickier each day, so here are some hints and tips to help you out. What is Connections: Sports Edition? NYT’s latest daily word game, created with The Athletic, challenges you to group four words with something in common. With 16 words in each puzzle, there are four categories, and only one correct set of answers. Guessing right removes words, while wrong guesses count as mistakes. Players have up to four mistakes.
Rearrange and shuffle the board, and each group is color-coded for difficulty: yellow (easiest), followed by green, blue, and purple. Share results with friends on social media.
