After months of testing, I can confidently say it’s worth the investment. Unlike other air fryers, the Iconic is devoid of plastic components that might release microplastics at high temperatures. Its interior lacks harmful chemical coatings like PFAS and Teflon. As someone who is particular about kitchenware safety, especially for my pets, I feel comfortable using the Iconic regularly.
The Iconic features a largely stainless steel finish with only the basket handle made of plastic to prevent burns. Its external surface heats up moderately when used on higher settings for extended periods. Its other components, like the basket interior and metal crisper plate, have a ceramic nonstick coating. Notably, it doesn’t emit any synthetic odors during operation. Furthermore, the Iconic’s stainless steel build contributes to a deluxe aesthetic that resists fingerprints and is easy to clean. The basket and crisper plate are also dishwasher safe.
Despite its slightly bulky size, standing a foot tall and weighing over 14 pounds, the Iconic’s sleek design makes it an agreeable countertop fixture.

While remote start isn’t possible for safety reasons, cooking settings can be sent to the Iconic through the app, which also provides cooking reminders and progress notifications. Despite some limitations with barcode scanning, the app proves useful with its settings suggestions and recipe library.
