New episodes of The Oprah Podcast will be available on Prime Video, Amazon Music, Audible, and Fire TV channels. Oprah Winfrey’s video podcast, Book Club, and Favorite Things are going to Amazon, as reported by The New York Times and Variety. Beginning in July, The Oprah Podcast will have new episodes twice a week, appearing on Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Audible, and Fire TV channels.

The show will continue on YouTube and other platforms but will join Amazon’s range of celebrity-hosted programs under the Wondery brand, alongside New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, and Baby, this is Keke Palmer. Last year, Amazon reorganized Wondery, keeping creator-led programs under the studio’s brand and moving narrative-driven shows like Dr. Death and American Scandal to Audible.

Netflix is also entering the video podcast scene with new agreements with Spotify and iHeartMedia, together with launching original shows with Pete Davidson and Michael Irvin.

Amazon’s agreement also involves all 25 seasons of The Oprah Winfrey Show, but it is “still determining how it will present the old TV episodes,” according to Variety. The NYT mentions Amazon is exploring options like “clipping together interviews she’s done on a particular subject” or “rereleasing an interview with an influential figure who’s returned to the current culture.”
