We got another glimpse of the upcoming Samsung foldable. Reported by Alex Perry on April 27, 2026, the latest foldable from Samsung feels increasingly palpable. It’s not the Galaxy Z TriFold, which had a brief stint before being discontinued. Instead, it’s the anticipated “Wide” foldable likely launching this summer alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
Leaker Sonny Dickson shared images on X showing dummy models of Samsung’s new foldables, revealing a different form compared to previous versions. The new Wide model is notably broader and squatter when unfolded, with a 4:3 aspect ratio. It’s expected to compete with the rumored iPhone Fold, which is also speculated to be shorter and wider than other models like the Z Fold 7.
A leak hints at a July announcement for Samsung’s next foldable lineup, indicating we won’t be waiting long for more details.
