Adobe Firefly app has undergone a major enhancement, featuring a new Firefly Image Model 5 AI tool now available in beta, alongside several new functionalities that can position Firefly as the essential application for video production, ranging from idea generation to editing. The company has also refreshed other well-liked products such as Creative Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere, incorporating new AI capabilities, and has rolled out several AI agents (assistants) designed to support creators with monotonous tasks in the creative workflow.
The emphasis on artificial intelligence has been central to the Firefly app, with Adobe frequently updating it over recent years. The announcements made on Tuesday further augment Firefly’s potential as a creative tool. Adobe characterizes the app as a comprehensive hub for the whole creative process, from ideation to production, encompassing video, audio, images, and AI integration. In terms of AI, Firefly will keep providing users with access to the latest generative AI tools from Adobe (Image Model 5) as well as from numerous partners, including Google, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Topaz Labs, among others.
