Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event on Tuesday marks annual updates, with three years having passed since the launch of the second-generation AirPods Pro. Apple’s high-end earbuds received a minor refresh in 2023 with the introduction of a version that features a USB-C charging case; however, the hardware remained largely the same.

In 2025, Apple is finally prepared to launch the third-generation AirPods Pro, and the company showcased the new earbuds at its “Awe Dropping” event on Tuesday, September 9. As anticipated, the AirPods Pro 3 come with several significant enhancements, including design modifications and new features absent in older iterations. Noteworthy highlights consist of Live Translation, a heart rate sensor, enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, superior battery longevity, and a more comfortable fit compared to any previous version.

Preorders for the AirPods Pro 3 will commence today ahead of their official release on September 19. They will be priced at $249, maintaining the initial launch price of the AirPods Pro 2.
