KPNX 12 News reported that the drone had grazed one of the cables utilized for moving equipment suspended from the crane.
The drones were flying consecutively when they collided with the crane cable, each landing approximately 100 to 200 feet apart in adjacent parking lots. While local fire and police units reacted to the incident, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) also took action, stating it would probe the crashes with Amazon’s full assistance.
