South Korea’s The Elec has reported that Apple aims to reduce production of the iPhone Air due to demand being lower than anticipated. According to an analyst from Mizuho Securities, it’s indicated that production may be decreased by approximately 1 million units.

Nonetheless, this should not be interpreted as a decline in iPhone interest. Conversely, the entry-level iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro continue to enjoy significant popularity, with both models outperforming the slender iPhone Air. In response, Apple is allegedly increasing production of the iPhone 17 by 2 million units, the iPhone 17 Pro by 1 million units, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max by 4 million units. Overall, the sales of the iPhone 17 seem robust, aligning with earlier reports seen over the past weeks.
