After revealing Apple’s latest offerings featuring the M5 chip, the new MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Apple Vision Pro models are now available globally. Although these updates are not a complete overhaul of the existing products, they introduce significant enhancements across the user experience and serve as excellent upgrades for users of older models like the M1 MacBook or earlier iPad Pro versions.
The M5 chip significantly boosts GPU performance compared to earlier generations, managing to even equal the Mac Studio’s M1 Ultra, as each core is equipped with a Neural Accelerator. AI operations are also quicker than ever owing to the enhanced 16-core Neural Engine.
Apple promotes both the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro as ideal devices for AI workflows, video editing, and gaming. The upgraded SSD also increases data reading and writing speeds on these devices, resulting in a smoother overall file transfer experience.
