The Apple TV and Peacock Bundle Is Now Live in the U.S.
Following Apple’s designation as the official Formula 1 broadcasting partner in the U.S., the company also introduced a rebranding of its Apple TV+ service, which will now simply be called Apple TV. While this alteration may seem perplexing with the multitude of Apple TV services and devices, it signifies a fresh phase for the streaming service as it approaches its sixth anniversary. Building on this progress, Apple has recently revealed its collaboration with Peacock to provide a combined subscription bundle that includes content from both platforms.
Subscribers to both services can now take advantage of a unified bundle offer that includes even more live events and sports, shows from cherished franchises, and blockbuster films. Apple states that customers in the U.S. can save over 30% with a consolidated subscription. More significantly, each platform will present selected samples of the partner’s shows, enabling a cross-platform viewing experience. This allows users to explore the other platform’s content without leaving the app they are currently using.
Peacock Bundle Represents Apple’s First Major Collaboration with Another Streaming Service
The Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle is priced at $14.99 per month, while the Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus version is offered at $19.99 monthly. Users can opt to subscribe through either of the two streaming applications or via Apple’s Peacock bundle webpage. While Apple provides a singular subscription for its service, Peacock features two distinct tiers. The distinction between the Premium and Premium Plus subscriptions is that the latter is ad-free and allows users to download content for offline viewing.
Apple mentions that Apple One Family and Apple One Premiere subscribers can avail themselves of the Peacock Premium Plus subscription at a reduced rate. Currently, this offer is only accessible in the U.S., though both companies may extend to other regions in the future. It is essential to recognize that if you are subscribed to only one of the services, the most effective way to obtain the bundle is to add it from the app where you already have a subscription. Otherwise, you may encounter issues with the subscription. Lastly, if Peacock subscribers are on the annual plan, they will only be able to access the bundle once the yearly plan concludes.
