Apple has just launched the third beta of iPadOS 26, signifying a crucial phase in the beta progression as it nears the initial public beta release. This update is anticipated to enhance bug resolutions and battery life. A notable aspect of iPadOS 26 is the innovative Liquid Glass design, aimed at improving the fluidity between Mac, iPhone, and iPad. The update presents a new windowing system, permitting several apps to run simultaneously on the Home Screen, thereby enhancing the previous multitasking features. Background task handling has seen enhancements, allowing activities such as video exporting to persist while using other applications. The Files app now includes list view and the ability to resize columns. A new Preview app facilitates the editing of sketches, PDFs, and images, and a Mac-like menu function has been incorporated into iPad apps.
