The iPhone 17 Air may have upstaged the others with its remarkably slim design, yet the standard iPhone 17 version is undeniably a key feature of Apple’s “Awe dropping” event. Although the base model hasn’t undergone a design overhaul like the three higher-priced iPhone 17 variants, it still received several important enhancements this year, including the much-requested 120Hz ProMotion displays.
The most appealing aspect of the standard iPhone 17 model is that it continues to be priced at the same $799 starting point as its predecessor. Given the elevated price points of the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro models alongside the upgrades to the standard iPhone 17, the base model may emerge as the preferred choice for this iPhone season.
