Subscribing to ChatGPT Plus was an obvious decision. I quickly understood that I wanted to tap into all the new features OpenAI had to offer as soon as they became available. Furthermore, ChatGPT Plus provided enhanced limits, which I required.

They also benefit from a more cost-effective version of Deep Research. However, the Plus subscription, available for $20/month, is a significantly superior option.
I mention this because the United Arab Emirates is reportedly set to provide free ChatGPT Plus access to all residents within the country. This represents a substantial benefit for the nation, one which other areas should consider.
OpenAI and the UAE government have finalized a substantial AI agreement as part of OpenAI’s OpenAI for Countries initiative. When OpenAI first unveiled this initiative, I remarked that it would empower OpenAI even more against competitors, as ChatGPT would become the default AI chatbot for many individuals in regions that engage in such extensive collaborations.
The UAE is the pioneer in leveraging this partnership, which isn’t surprising. The nation possesses the resources to invest heavily in AI and aims to be a significant contender in the field. All that oil wealth can fund the large infrastructure investments necessary for the UAE to establish itself as a major local player in AI.
Additionally, the geographical position allows cities like Dubai and the entire UAE to harness solar energy year-round. Establishing Stargate centers in the Emirates is highly advantageous for both entities.
