Samsung Galaxy Watch is a wellness monitor designed to assess your overall well-being through functionalities such as your heart rate, workouts, and sleep quality. The Galaxy Watch’s approach to analyzing your sleep wellness is distinct. In 2022, it started utilizing animals to represent a user’s sleep behavior.
These are referred to as Sleep Animal Symbols. The animal that is designated to you is determined by your sleep metrics, concentrating on three primary factors. Firstly, your sleep duration, tracked in total hours and minutes. Secondly, your sleeping regularity, reflecting how many days weekly you meet the sleep targets you’ve set. Lastly, awake duration, indicating your restlessness and frequency of nocturnal awakenings.
This classification is split into four animal tiers. There exists a singular animal in Tier 1, the Unconcerned Lion. If you possess this animal, it indicates excellence in sleep duration, sleep regularity, and awake duration. The least favorable is Tier 4, the Exhausted Shark. This signifies insufficient sleep, irregular sleeping patterns, and frequent awakenings. The two middle tiers, Tier 2 and Tier 3, each contain three animals that symbolize various good and bad sleeping habits.
