The organization asserts that the gadget itself is a “near-telepathic wearable” and that it is capable of sensing the various signals that your brain transmits to your body’s speech apparatus. This, according to Kapur, will allow you to “type at the velocity of thought” while also preventing unintentional thoughts from being communicated to the device. We’ve encountered analogous thought-to-speech gadgets previously, although many of those seem to be predominantly focused on assisting individuals with ALS and other speech-affecting conditions.
