APK analysis by Android Authority suggests that Google Photos may soon introduce a feature that allows users to swipe left or right to either keep or delete images stored in their library. This functionality seems to draw inspiration from Tinder, which has utilized a swiping mechanism for connecting users for quite some time.
According to a clip showcasing the new feature, it appears you’ll initiate Google’s cleanup tool and then have the choice to swipe left or right to determine if a photo should remain in your library or be sent to the recycling bin. It also seems there’s an option to tap buttons for each choice if swiping isn’t your preferred method. Additionally, there is a new Review and delete option featured at the top of the updated interface, and the former heart-shaped icon for preserving a photo has been replaced with a straightforward check mark.
