Google enhanced Google Translate using AI. A few years back, Google introduced AI-driven contextual translation features to Google Translate.

The two new functionalities will be offered for free to Google Translate users, although the learning experience is in beta and confined to a select few languages. Google did not disclose any pricing information for the language-learning practice mode after the feature exits beta.

The Google Translate apps for Android and iPhone will feature a “Live translate” button following Tuesday’s announcement. The application will facilitate translations for over 70 languages, including Arabic, French, Hindi, Korean, Spanish, and Tamil. Users in the U.S., India, and Mexico will be the first to access the new live translation features.

Upon pressing the “Live translate” button, you can start speaking, and the AI will translate your words in real time. The translation will be spoken out loud, and a transcript will be displayed.
