It implemented AskHR, an AI-driven conversational tool for administrative functions, which automated 94% of its associated job tasks, leading to a $3.5 billion increase in productivity. However, this also generated a need for specialized positions such as software developers and marketing experts. The corporate terminology suggests that “strategic redeployment” permits companies like IBM to generate fresh job openings. This could represent either positive or negative developments, depending on individual perspectives and whether one is impacted by layoffs. AI is infiltrating nearly everything these days, and it isn’t reassuring, particularly since we are aware that much of the internet content is produced by AI these days.
