Apple TV+ has now provided fans with an initial look at one of its most significant TV series of the year — a launch that has been surrounded by much speculation and rumor.
“Pluribus,” a fresh sci-fi drama from “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” creator Vince Gilligan, is set to premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ on November 7, comprising nine episodes. It’s not merely that this new show hails from the mind behind two of the most celebrated crime dramas in recent history, or that it features Rhea Seehorn (the actress known for her role as Kim Wexler in “Better Call Saul”). The excitement has escalated to a frenzy for this Apple series partly because it represents a total departure from Gilligan’s previous narratives revolving around drugs and cartels, having been characterized as being closer to shows like “The Twilight Zone” and “The X-Files.”
Additionally, Apple TV+ has so much faith in “Pluribus” that the platform has granted it a second season renewal even before its inaugural episode airs. How’s that for a display of assurance?
