For a while now, it has been known that Samsung is developing an upgrade to its foldable series, shifting towards a trifold design rather than just the typical single-fold, dual-screen model that has drawn many to devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7. While the precise name for the device is still under wraps, we’ve been calling it the Galaxy G Fold 7 until Samsung reveals an official name. Predictions have set the trifold device for a 2025 launch, yet as we approach the year’s end, there has been no word from Samsung.
That being said, insights regarding the anticipated device may soon come to light, potentially sooner than anticipated. Industry sources have asserted that Samsung is prepared to unveil its trifold, possibly as soon as October. Subsequently, the insiders indicate to ETNews that the G Fold might hit the market as early as November, making its debut a month before the conclusion of 2025.
