a release anticipated in mid-December, Apple is still refining iOS 26.2, alongside its other operating systems, including macOS Tahoe 26.2, which is rumored to introduce a new video calling feature dubbed Edge Light.
With the arrival of iOS 26.2 beta 2, Apple has enhanced Liquid Glass animations, presenting the user interface that many iPhone users anticipated following WWDC earlier this year, when the design appeared more lively and vibrant. It is likely that with beta 3, the company will further refine this experience to make it even more fluid and attractive.
In addition to this, Apple is actively incorporating Liquid Glass effects into its default applications. As of the last beta release, the Measures app features Liquid Glass bubbles during its measurement process. Meanwhile, Apple has also refreshed the Apple Store app with a new icon and an updated user interface, although access to the iOS 26.2 beta is not required to notice these changes.
