Google Translate’s real-time conversation capability, which debuted on smartphones in August 2025, is finally rolling out to iPhone users globally — at no charge.
Google announced that Live Translate with headphones has officially launched within the Apple ecosystem, accompanied by a significant expansion that introduces the feature to additional countries worldwide. This includes Germany, France, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Thailand. This enhancement enables the service to translate over 70 languages. It’s incredibly user-friendly; simply connect a pair of wireless headphones to start utilizing Google’s real-time translation feature in the app.
