Prior to “Face/Off,” Hollywood icon John Travolta collaborated with John Woo on another kitschy ’90s action movie that might have escaped your notice: “Broken Arrow.” Released in 1996, this film is one of Woo’s uncommon English-language projects, but is likely best remembered — for better or for worse — due to Travolta’s over-the-top portrayal as the film’s deranged, wise-cracking antagonist, Major Vic Deakins.
