iOS 26.1 beta 4 has been released, as Apple approaches the conclusion of its initial major update following the iOS 26 launch. The company continues to implement new features and adjustments in this beta, which is anticipated to be available within the next few weeks.
Notably, iOS 26.1 beta 4 brings three significant modifications, one of which is a new option for Liquid Glass transparency. Since the introduction of its new design language, users have voiced concerns regarding Liquid Glass problems such as readability, prompting the company to reconsider the desired level of translucency for the experience.
In beta 4, Apple allows users to select between Clear and Tinted options by going to Settings > Display and Brightness. Although this does not provide the adjustable slider that many users have hoped for, it will at least simplify the process of switching between modes in iOS 26.1.
