Older models that are supported include the Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Dot Kids as long as they are 2nd gen or newer. Echo Pop, Echo Spot (2nd gen), Echo Show 5, and Echo Show 5 Kids will be compatible as well. However, you should keep in mind that older devices will experience Alexa+ in a voice-only mode. Here’s some positive news if you haven’t yet acquired any of those devices. You don’t need an Echo device to utilize Alexa+, as Amazon has already introduced a web version of the service. Offered as an early access program, you can access the Alexa Plus website through a web browser, likely on most devices that support it.
