Following the launch of the initial public beta of macOS Tahoe, Apple is now progressing into the latter portion of the beta phase for its anticipated OS update. With the formal launch projected for later this autumn, the company has just released macOS Tahoe beta 5 for developers.
Embracing a design aesthetic closer to that of the iPhone and iPad, Apple is introducing a new Liquid Glass design language to synchronize all of its hardware. Besides the instantly recognizable UI featuring updated icons, Apple is also rolling out new Continuity functionalities, including Live Activities, on the Mac.
More intriguingly, the macOS Tahoe beta includes Phone and Journal applications, simplifying the process of staying in touch with loved ones while capturing personal reflections across any device. A fresh Preview app facilitates signing documents, drawing, and much more. These features enhance the connectivity among iPhone, iPad, and Mac, allowing access to all these applications on every platform.
