It’s “Hostage,” debuting on August 21, focused on the unthinkable decisions faced by world leaders who must navigate the complexities of politics alongside their personal dilemmas.

The upcoming series centers on a British prime minister (portrayed by Suranne Jones) whose spouse is abducted during a diplomatic visit. Her adversary, the French president, also faces blackmail, a dual crisis that compels the two leaders to collaborate as their futures and lives hang in the balance.
