IFA 2025. At the event, the firm showcased several of its newest advancements, such as a humanoid robot named 4NE1 (pronounced “for anyone”) and MiPA (My intelligent Personal Assistant), a mobile manipulation platform on wheels.
While participants at IFA may have chuckled at 4NE1 sorting white garments from colored ones into various bins, they also witnessed MiPA organizing stuffed toys in a child’s room. These seemingly straightforward demonstrations signal a larger narrative: Neura is confident it can integrate humanoid robots into everyday life sooner than anticipated. Imagine “I, Robot“ but with a more optimistic conclusion, regardless of whether you favor Will Smith’s film version or Isaac Asimov’s original text.
At the exhibition, BGR interviewed Neura’s head of engineering, Dr.-Ing. Arne Nordmann, regarding the company’s newest 4NE1 robot, which was first unveiled in June at the Automatica show. According to Nordmann, these robots, manufactured in Germany, are already operating in business environments and might soon enter the consumer marketplace.
